Richard Stack joins HMG Technologies

Regional consultancy hires local entrepreneur to lead sales and marketing efforts; launches new program for small and mid-sized businesses

Ellicott City, MD - June 17, 2002 - HMG Technologies (HMG), a regional consulting firm announced today that Richard Stack, founder of Centervise and former Vice President of Sales with CareerRewards.com, has joined the firm as a Vice President and member of the executive team.

The addition of Mr. Stack immediately strengthens HMG’s sales capabilities and allows HMG to provide additional services to its’ customer base. Functioning in a dual role, Mr. Stack will maintain responsibility for the sales and marketing activities for HMG Technologies, and will oversee HMG: Connect – a new HMG program. HMG: Connect is a marketing and customer service program focused on helping businesses better service, market to and understand their customers. Through HMG: Connect, companies can improve revenue opportunities, establish critical business relationships, and expand profits via specialized customer service, sales and marketing programs.

Mr. Stack has worked with HMG as a consultant since last September, and his hiring clearly highlights HMG’s commitment to growth and to the Mid-Atlantic region. Prior to founding Centervise (as Arlington Partners, in 1999) and managing CareerRewards’ sales efforts, Richard held a variety of sales positions with such firms as EDS, Monster.com and Source Consulting.
